Moto X Isn’t Dead. In Fact It’s ‘Alive and Well’!

With the launch of Lenovo Moto Z and Moto Z Force, the one thing everything was talking about was the Moto X. It was assumed that with the launch of the new Moto devices, it’s now the end of the much popular X-lineup ! But, it isn’t like that. ‘Moto X lineup isn’t going to end’, the company says. When the whole matter was discussed with Motorola about the Moto X-to-Z transition, the company said that the Moto X lineup isn’t going to end in fact, the Moto Z is ‘Different Experience’. It is a completely different lineup as compared to the Moto Z. So, this means that the Moto Z is not replacing the Moto X.

Here is what the company said about the whole issue-

Moto X is alive and well. In fact, Moto X Force recently launched in multiple new markets around the world.  X and Z do share some great qualities, but they ultimately provide different experiences and make our portfolio more robust for consumers looking for the perfect smartphone to fit their needs. Tech-hungry consumers who are looking to get a brand new set of experiences from their smartphone will turn to Moto Z and Moto Mods.

Well, this may seem legit but there is one thing that truly needs to be admitted. In the markets where the company can push the Z brand heavily, it seems almost inevitable that Motorola won’t have much incentive to push new X devices as real “flagships” going forward. So, the X-lineup will remain the same as the feature-packed mid-ranger whereas the Moto Z takes the story to a whole new level. Surely, the upcoming flagship devices by the company will be launched under the Moto Z branding and the Moto X will remain as the high-end-mid-range option.

Since the X-series devices have gained a plenty of respect so the company wouldn’t be ditching the lineup for the new Moto Zs. Well, what you think of this ? Do let us know via comments section ?
