Every smartphone company is trying to deliver the best devices and most of them have succeeded doing so this year. But Sony hasn’t yet impressed a lot this year as the new ‘X’ series from the company was rather a disappointment. Sony’s main issue is the pricing. The company always keep the pricing of its device sky high and that is the main reason company failed to impress the users! Now the company is trying to get back on the track. The company is now ready to unveil the 6th device of 2016, the Sony Xperia XR. :D
MEET THE SONY XPERIA XR!
Well, you might be wondering how we came to know about this? Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka @OnLeaks has revealed some 3D renders of the upcoming Sony device, which is most probably the Sony Xperia XR. The design has revealed a beautiful device with not so much change in design as compared to its predecessors of the X-series. The only difference in this phone is the measurement and a few additions. Sony Xperia XR measures 146.4 x 71.9 x 8.1 mm. This makes the phone a little bit larger than the previous X-series Phones.
We have also got the USB Type-C port on the bottom. Well done Sony! There is dual-tone LED flash on the rear and some rumors have suggested that both rear, as well as the front-facing camera will be able to shoot 4K! Actually, this is something that no phone has offered so far. Also, if you see the renders closely, you will find sharper edges as compared to the X and X Performance. Ah, that hurts. That really does. Who wants such sharp-edged devices? Not me for sure!
Anyways, as far as the launch is considered, Sony is going to host a press event in Berlin on 1st of September. So hopefully we will be witnessing the new device launching there. What are your views on it? Do let us know via comments section :D
