Phicomm Energy 3 Plus budget smartphone launched at IFA

Not many of you may know about the Phicomm as a mobile maker, but its budget phones have a relative success in parts of Africa, Europe and even reach the Indian market. Phicomm is based in Germany and it is a regular exhibitor at the IFA trade show event, at this year’s event, the German mobile manufacturer introduced its best phone branded as the Phicomm Energy 3 Plus.

WHAT PHICOMM ENERGY 3 PLUS FEATURES?

The mid-range Phicomm Energy 3 Plus boasts a 5.5-inch HD touch panel with 1280 x 720p resolution, sports a 13Mp main camera with autofocus and LED flash on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front with dual LED flash for selfie-snapping at low light.

Phicomm’s new Energy phone is powered by the 64-bit MediaTekĀ MT6753 processor with eight Cortex-A53 CPU cores clocked at 1.3GHz paired with the Mali-T720 GPU and backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory supporting extension via microSD by up to 128GB (memory’s not a problem). Phone promises a smooth use, thanks to its Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade. Even though these specs are not mind-blowing, the Phicomm Energy 3 Plus is Phicomm’s best smartphone by far. šŸ˜€

In the terms of connectivity, the Energy 3 Plus supports two SIM cards, 4G LTE network, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and a Fingerprint Sensor. Despite coming in mid-range specs this phone comes heavily loaded with power, its 3,650 mAh battery is going to provide with an expanded battery lifespan.

Phicomm hasn’t announced anything about the phone’s pricing, but it announced a map regarding its availability and it is going to cover Africa and Europe. Judging by the fact that Phicomm-made phones made their way to India, it is most likely that this phone will have a similar path. As about its price, it will not be that much of a budget-friendly, expect something above $200.
