Leaked : One Plus 3T To Feature Snapdragon 821 & Sony IMX398 Sensor

Flagship Killer coming with an Upgrade!

One Plus has as of now rocked this year by its ‘Flagship Killer’ of 2016, the One Plus 3. However, with new phones launching every one or two days, now the competition has turned out to be truly tough. A few days prior, One Plus’ arch rival, Xiaomi unveiled the Mi Note 2 which simply crushed the competition out there. Presently, One Plus is ready to show who is the real ‘king of Flagships’! The company’s CEO had officially given a clue that another One Plus phone is in works. Yet, we all know it won’t be the One Plus 4. Why? Because, the new One Plus device is coming this year. One Plus 3T will be the name of the upcoming device with a model number A3010.

One Plus 3T Leaked

Today, a new leak by a user on Weibo (a Chinese Social Media Website) claims that the One Plus 3T is going to have Snapdragon 821 compared to the 820 on OP3. This makes the number game tougher because there are now a lot of powerful devices with the latest Snapdragon chip. The RAM won’t be upgraded for sure as we already have 6GB RAM in the OP3. Another significant update that we are going to see in the One Plus 3T is the Sony IMX398 Sensor that was seen in the Oppo R9s & R9s Plus that were launched last week.

It is said that the company is working for the Android Nougat for One Plus 3T and we will see the latest version of Android running straight out of the box on the 3T. The screen is going to be the same as the company’s CEO has already stated that they will be sticking with Optic AMOLED screens. So, except the Processor, OS and Camera, everything is going to be the same as the One Plus 3. This upgrade will cost you extra $80 as compared to the 400$ price tag of One Plus 3.

  1. Flagship killer with an minor upgrade and a minor downgrade. From Amoled to IPS Led is what I heard and read from multiple sources. Ofcourse, these are just rumors. Conflicting ones at that. But, as it turns out, I am in need of a new phone. And the OP3T fullfills my every need. Regardless if it had Amoled or IPS. Screen is not the most important vector for me. Plus, IPS Led would mean a significant longer battery life, as it is much more energy efficient.
