Anyways, coming to this article, the One Plus 3 comes with a massive 3GB of RAM but the phone has been criticized lately for suffering similar RAM management problems. The issue is that One Plus 3 is not able to handle multiple apps and it reloads each app that is running in the background. Well, luckily the fix has been found for the One Plus 3 RAM Management issue. Before we start, keep in mind that root access is a must for this tweak. If you don’t know about rooting yet, better read this article first. Anyways, let us come to the methods to fix this issue!
STEPS TO FIX ONE PLUS 3 RAM MANAGEMENT ISSUE-
As mentioned before, you will need to root your One Plus 3 first and I think that isn’t a very tough job! Supposing that you’ve rooted your device, now let us come to the steps.
ATTENTION: THESE STEPS TO FIX ONE PLUS 3 RAM MANAGEMENT ISSUE WERE TRIED SUCCESSFULLY ON REVIEW UNIT. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO YOUR DEVICE! TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK!
- First of all, head to the Google Play Store and from there, download an app called ‘Build Prop Editor‘. You can also do the same task with any root explorer but I will recommend use this app.
- After the app has been installed open it up and you will not see a lot of stuff there. Well, tap on the search option and search there for ‘ro.sys.fw‘. Then, tap on the search result shown as there will be only one such file.
- Now, after you will tap it, you will see a popup having an option ‘value’. By default, the value will be 20. Now, the main thing happens here! You need to change the value from 20 to 42.
- Now, here you will need to grant the root permissions. Just tap on ‘Grant‘ or ‘Allow‘ and that’s it! Just close the app and do a simple reboot.
So, once you will reboot now you will see that the One Plus 3 doesn’t struggle to keep the apps open in the background. After this little tweak, One Plus 3 will be able to handle twice as many apps in the memory than before. Also, one of the One Plus 3 users asked Carl Pei, the CEO of One Plus about the One Plus 3 RAM Management Issue and here is what he said-
