So, do you really think Moto Z lineup is done? Well, you’re wrong! The ‘Z’ series is missing a member and it is the Moto Z Play. Now there must not be any questions regarding the ‘Play’ version because we have seen this tradition in previous Moto devices also. Anyways, the Moto Z Play rumors started right from the Moto Z/Z Force launch. We were missing a solid leak or news about the device and finally we’ve got one. ( Sigh of Relief!) So, the very first Moto Z Play is from TENAA.

Moto Z Play

The model number of the device is listed as XT1635-03, which very much signifies a Lenovo device. Ok, if you don’t know, the Moto devices will now be known as ‘Lenovo Moto’ instead of ‘Motorola Moto’. But luckily, the ‘Z’ series is still under ‘Motorola’ branding instead of ‘Lenovo’. Sweet? Ok, coming back to the leak, TENAA reveals that the Moto Z Play will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p display which will be an AMOLED display. If you remember, we have a Quad HD screen on the Moto Z/Z Force. So, it means that the Moto Z Play will be the lowest variant of the three! Other features include 2GHz Processor ( hopefully Snapdragon 625) , 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The listing also reveals the big 3.510 mAh battery under the hood!

The images on TENAA shows that the Z Play will feature the pins to attach the modules on the back. This will probably attract the consumers. Some rumors have suggested a 16MP rear snapper with 4K recording capability and also a 5MP front-facing camera. The release date isn’t known yet but it might launch in upcoming weeks.
