Moto Z Play Coming With 3.5mm Headphone Jack?

The very first members of the Moto ‘Z’ series, Moto Z, and Moto Z Force have already been launched. The wait is now for the Moto Z Play as the company will be continuing the ‘Play’ series with Moto Z also. The thing which surprised a lot with the launch of Moto Z and Moto Z Force was that the devices had no 3.5mm headphone jack! So, in case you’re having the Moto Z device and want to listen to some sort of music, you have to search for a new pair of some USB headphones. LeEco has successfully experimented this by ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack .So, the CDLA-Powered headphones will be used with the USB Type-C port. But, Motorola ( or Lenovo) did something that was not expected by everyone ( except those who followed the leaks!). But, good news is that the new and fresh leak has revealed that the Moto Z Play will come with a 3.5mm headphone jack 😀

3.5mm HEADPHONE JACK IN MOTO Z PLAY?

Moto Z Play

An image by ‘MotClub HK’ reveals the 3.5mm headphone jack in a Moto device which seems to be the Moto Z Play. Now, as the image shows the device with USB Type-C Port, so most probably it is the Z Play. Also, the other two Z-series devices have also been shown in the image to clearly see the difference between all three phones. If the leak turns out to be true then undoubtedly it will be a very good news for all those Moto lovers out there who’re missing the headphone jack in Z-series.

WHAT ABOUT SPECS?

This month, the Moto Z Play was spotted on AnTuTu (A Benchmarking Platform ) also. The listing revealed a 5.5-inch AMOLED display carrying a pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080. The device is running Snapdragon 625 with Adreno 506 GPU. There is 3GB of RAM while 32GB of internal storage space. The camera section will include 16MP and 5MP units on rear and front respectively. The Moto Z Play will be priced around 300$.

So, it’s really a good news that we will see 3.5mm headphone jack again. But, before fully believing this to be true, we will advise you to take a pinch of salt. Anyways what do you think? Do you want to see Moto Z Play with a headphone jack? Do let us know via comments 😀
