The next big thing now are the Modular Smartphones! We have already seen such technology in the LG G5, in which different modules can be added according to the need. Well, today Lenovo has launched its Moto Z smartphone along with the Moto Z Force and Moto Mods. All the rumors and leaks had already given us the hint about the devices before their launch. And here they are ! The two new Moto Smartphones have been officially announced! Well, here are the full specifications-
MOTO Z SPECIFICATIONS-
The Moto Z comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display and is powered by a Snapdragon 820 chipset. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 32/64GB of expandable storage. There is a 13MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Autofocus and LED Flash. Also, there is a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies. Likewise the previous Moto device, the Moto Z has a fingerprint scanner on the front. Amazingly, the device is just 5.2mm slim, probably because there is no 3.5mm headphone jack in the device! Android Marshmallow runs out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 2,600 mAh battery, which can be used for upto 8 hours if use in just 15 minutes charging. Also the connector this time is USB Type-C.
MOTO Z FORCE SPECIFICATIONS-
Moto Z Force is identical to its small brother despite the fact that it is 6.99mm thick. The It has got the same 5.5-inch display but unlike the Moto Z, it’s shatterproof! There is improved 21MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and autofocus. Also, it features a bigger 3,500 mAh battery than the Moto Z. This one too hasn’t got the 3.5mm headphone jack! ( Why Lenovo?)
As mentioned in the beginning, Moto line is going modular with the Moto Z and Z Force. Well, the modules are pretty similar to what we saw in the LG G5. The only difference is that, the Moto Mods are accessories designed to connect to the back of the new Moto devices, just like a back cover. Till now, only 4 Modules have been unveiled by Moto which are as follows –
1.JBL SoundBoost Speaker – This mod includes its own battery and it can be used to get a louder volume than what you will get with the inbuilt speaker.
2. Power Packs – As the name says, these mods can give you 22 hours of battery easily. They come with a slim design so that will not hurt the look of your Moto device!
3.Moto Insta-Share Projector – This mod turns your regular Moto device to a mini projector! Also, it has its own built-in battery so you don’t have to worry about the juice.
4.Moto Style Shell – These mods are actually different style magnetic snapbacks that lets you change look of your phone!
