Leaked : Moto M Teaser ahead of the Official Launch

After so many devices launched this year, Moto M is all set to join the list. The phone is expected to be launched at an event in November and one of the interesting stuff we have seen in the leaks so far is the new design that this device will have. First of all, there will be a rear fingerprint scanner! Yes, no front-facing fingerprint scanner. Also, the Moto logo is now moved to the bottom and we aren’t sure whether it is the traditional Moto Dimple or just the simple logo. Anyways, today the Moto M Teaser has been leaked before the official launch! Looking at the teaser image, we can easily confirm that the device with model number XT1662 that was leaked via TENAA is the Moto M.

The rear camera design is similar to what we saw on the Moto G4/G4 Plus.  Below that is the fingerprint scanner. The user who leaked the Moto M teaser image also leaked another live hands-on image of the device that shows the front side of the device. We can clearly see the Moto branding on the bottom side ( Finally, they know how to fill that space).

moto-m-live-imageAlso, just like the previous Moto devices, the Moto M too has on-screen buttons. The device will most probably run Android M out of the box but chances are there for Nought too! As per the expected specifications, 5.5-inch screen with 1080p resolution, 2.2GHz Octa-Core chipset , 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage might be there on the Moto M. Coming to the cameras, the setup seems to be the same as on Moto G4/G4 Plus i.e 16MP+8MP.

At last, we cannot clearly say anything about the specifications but the teaser image seems legit! What are your thoughts? Did you like the design? Do let us know via the comments section. :D

  1. Well, its a improvement over the Moto Z line, but still has a few weird design choices. First it should have a second speaker on the bottom bezel, the bezel it self should be a lot smaller. I honestly don’t get the Moto branding, isn’t the logo enough?! The size is also a concern, it should be 5″ not 5,5″. Why all Moto phones and now so big, Lenovo did not create a single google phone with decent size.
Just hope this have a OLED screen, a good snapdragon chipset and decent camera.
