In January 2016, the company announced that it will make this OS available for absolutely free. Not just OS, this company also makes Computers running Remix OS. But, the source code of the Remix OS isn’t available for the Android x-86. Well, this was a little introduction about this OS. Now, let us come to the main news. JIDE REMIX PRO SPECIFICATIONS-

Jide Remix Pro

As mentioned in the beginning, it is a large tablet with a 12-inch screen, the pixel resolution of which is 2160×1440 pixels. The tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 652 coupled with 3 Gigs of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space. Fortunately, there is an external SD card slot. There is nothing much to talk about the camera ( We know that!) as the Jide Remix Pro has 8MP rear and 5MP front-facing camera. The design of the tablet is clean and it is quite slim at just 6.9mm . There is a 9,000 mAh battery under the hood.

The Jide Remix Pro also comes with a Surface-style keyboard and case which makes it easy to type and to use it as a secondary Laptop! Well, these were some normal specifications but the main highlight of this tablet is the Android Marshmallow based Remix OS 3.0. Except this tablet, Jide has also struck a partnership with PC giant Acer, that will see a “limited edition” Remix OS-powered laptop being released in China. The laptop, dubbed Acer Aspire ES1-131, will feature an Intel processor and an “optimized version of Remix OS for PC.” It sounds like an experiment more than anything else, but having a big hardware partner on its side could help Jide achieve critical mass.

Not much information is there about the launch .But we can expect the tablet to launch first in China and then in other countries. Well, the tablet is surely a good product to get your hands-on. The pricing isn’t yet specified by the company but a good pricing will surely make this tablet one of its kinds. What do you think about it? Do let us know via comments 😀
