Report says Google Pixel Adoption is faster than Nexus 6P

Still Far Behind the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge….

Well, Google Pixel is the best smartphone so far from Google and probably the best Android smartphone of 2016. Despite its higher price, people are going crazy for this device. Also, Google has done very massive advertisement for both of its new devices so this could be another reason of high-fi sales of the phones. Anyways, whatever the reason is, today a new report from Appboy, a mobile marketing firm has revealed that the adoption of Google Pixel is faster as compared to that of the Nexus 6P ( Again, RIP Nexus!) The amount of share Pixel XL gained in a week is equal to what the Nexus 6P did in two weeks. Obviously, people are buying the devices much faster as compared to 6P.

Google Pixel and Pixel XL Graph

Appboy analysed almost 100+ Million daily app devices between October 20 & 27.  As per the firm, Google Pixel & Pixel XL acquired almost 0.016% & 0.020% share in just 1 week whereas the Nexus 6P took almost 2 weeks for the same amount of share. Also, after one week of the launch, Pixel’s sale showed tremendous growth as the sale increased upto 274% whereas the Pixel XL’s sales increased to 158% i.e nearly double as compared to the launch day! But, unfortunately both the devices are too far behind the Samsung Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge. You can check the graph above to see the difference between the sales of Google Pixel/PixelXL & S7/S7 Edge.

But, Still the Pixels are ruling the show and we can surely hope to see much better growth in the numbers in coming weeks. What do you think? Do let us know via comments section. :-)
