Chinese Smartphone maker Coolpad has launched a new smartphone today.This Smartphone is all set to destroy its competition. Comparing the features with its peers, this device is surely a step ahead.Yes! They launched the all new Coolpad Note 5 with a disruptive price tag of Rs.10,999/- which approximately amounts to $165. With this price tag, the Coolpad Note 5 easily bulldozes all the other devices like the Moto G4 plus, Redmi Note 3 and LEeco Le 2 which have been ruling the 10K price segment. The Coolpad Note 5 being the successor to the Coolpad Note 3 has apparently applied the Samsung strategy by successfully skipping the Note 4.(Samsung skipped the Note 6!)


It offers 4GB of RAM along with Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor. Its one of the best features is that it’s offering a huge 4010mAh battery. The Phone comes with a metal unibody design and it sports a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with 2.5D Curved Glass which has a pixel density of 401ppi. The Device runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Coolpad’s custom skin on top. For smooth gaming performance, there is Adreno 405 GPU.

Well, for Camera and Selfie enthusiasts, Coolpad is offering a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash and an 8-megapixel front facing camera with inbuilt “smart beautification feature”.The Phone comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card. But, Please Note that this is a hybrid sim slot which means, the user has to choose between a second SIM or a microSD card. ( Sad!)

**Just in case if you’re wondering whether this phone supports JIO sim or not, let us tell you that it supports a JIO SIM as this is a 4G enabled handset.**
