Rumor : 2K Screen Continues on Galaxy S8 with no physical Home Button

Now thats’ weird….

After Note 7 controversy, Samsung will surely try to make a huge comeback with the Galaxy S8. The phone will be launched in February 2017 just like the previous S series phones. But, the leaks and rumors are always here to surprise us. We have already gone through some rumors like a 4K screen or a fully bezel-less screen etc. Today, a new rumor has revealed that there won’t be any 4K screen.

SAMSUNG GALAXY S8 : 2K SCREEN + DITCHING THE HOME BUTTON?

Galaxy S8

Yes! You read right . The new rumor says that Samsung will stick with the 2K screen on the Galaxy S8 which is good because, for a 4K screen, a big battery is a must. So, instead of investing for big batteries, keep the screen resolution same as previous devices like Note 7 or S7 Edge. ( PS : Quad HD = 2k). So, it seems that sticking with the same resolution will help the company instead of any kind of loss. Anyways, the rumor also says that the company will ditch the physical home button on the Galaxy S8. ( Really? So, Samsung will ditch its iconic home button?) . This means that there could be Qualcomm’s Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner inbuilt under the screen.

But, as always, rumors and leaks are something that we must take with a pinch of salt. If this is going to happen, we will see a whole new phone from Samsung which will be really awesome. What are your views? Do let us know via the comments section. 🙂
